Abstract

|
The study was performed through literature review on disaster and relief, navigating internet, and indepth-interview with 8 who had crossed the borders from North Korea. The study scope was limited into the disaster types happened during the last decades and laws and regulations, governmental structure, finance, and relief system in their disaster management system.
It is recommended for a futher study that governmental administration, emergency medical services, volunteer works, and so on, should be considered to more substantial data on the disaster management against the near future.
Considering the unification between South and North Korea in the near future, the various areas need to explore the differences and coincidents to minimize a shock and chaos but to make a harmonious order.
